The Daily Prophet is the most popular newspaper in the wizarding world. It was established around 1883 and has been a "reliable" source of the latest and greatest news for the magical community.
The Daily Prophet is published every morning. Evening editions are available and can be printed and delivered quickly with breaking news.The evening edition is called The Evening Prophet and the Sunday edition is called The Sunday Prophet
Subscriptions can be paid for in advance or upon receiving the paper each morning. The basic cost per issue is 7 knuts. (5 sickles & 18 knuts for a 365-day-each-morning subscription)
Each issue contains:
-Current Events
-The Quidditch section contains rankings where each team is ranked by total number of points scored so far in the league.) Forthcoming matches are also listed by team. Then follows various articles related to Quidditch.
