Bernadette is a tall girl at five feet and eleven inches and fit at only 115 lbs giving her the look of a model. Since she has done ballet all her life, she has toned muscles and athletic features to complement her dance. To the small of her back extends thick, straight, strawberry blond hair. For clothing she likes to wear vintage looking things (www.anthropologie.com for example) with loose boots or flats. Most of all she likes skirts, dresses, and sweaters. Sometimes she likes to wear a knit beanie or necklace or bracelet, but mostly she likes to keep it simple after the outfit.

Special Abilities (Magical or otherwise): Bernadette speaks English, French, and Italian fluently while she understands some Spanish and Greek.
Personality:
Bernadette is ambitious by nature but in a good way. She will not stomp on people to get to the top, but she likes to set goals for herself and get them done. Also a lover of limelight she has no fear or speeches or social situations, rather enjoying being in the spot of attention as long as it is good. This is all balanced, however, and not leaning to one extreme or another it is simply that she is an extroverted type.
She is speculative or curious and often digs into something she perhaps ought to have left alone. This curiosity leaves in her a desire to learn new things. Bernadette is optimistic, honorable, dignified, confident, and proud making her an excellent Gryffindor. Her nature is exuberant, sunny, charismatic, and dramatic. Again this has to do with being extroverted. She is very social and likes to participate in all sorts of activities.
Lastly, she is competitive, a leader and an organizer which makes her good at leading clubs or teams, doing well in them, and aspiring to achieve higher means. She would be seen as the type to make a good Prefect or Head Girl if that was something she wanted.
Character History:
Bernadette was born to two lovely parents but when she was 6 years old her parents were killed in a raid as they were Aurors. Thus, Bernadette was bounced from family member to family member and lived in several places around Europe. The good thing was the Grosvenor family was large as was the Searle side of the family.
Both sides would take Bernadette for 6 months or a year at a time so that none had the burden of an extra child. Only all magical families on the Searle side would take her in since Bernadette had proved she was a witch when informed of her parentsEdeath. In the emotional trauma of the moment she had unintentionally willed herself from the waiting room at St. Mungo’s to the room where her parentsEbodies were lying covered on examination tables. Thankfully she was doubled up in tears and a nurse carried her out to avoid further trauma.
In any case, Bernadette had known great love from her parents and she felt no anger at being bounced around because she did not want to burden them all anyway. She also knew they all loved her as family but they all had families of their own to raise. It was a joyous day when her letter from Hogwarts came because that meant she was no longer a burden to her relatives for the school year and only had to stay somewhere for summer break.
Despite the hardship, Bernadette ended up a strong and ambitious girl, honest and a good leader. It ended up she did love attention and hated to be alone as she was around lots of family members all the time, going to different homes and all. Through out her life she was able to take ballet lessons and could afford her ‘home tutors for magical familiesEwith the insurance and inheritance money left to her from her parents. It was in a trust at Gringotts that her father’s brother (her Uncle Rush) could wire out to whom ever was caring for her at the time. Likewise, she could be wired money over the years for her Hogwarts supplies and whatever else she needed. Now that she was seventeen the account became her own and she had the key to it finally.
