Desired House: Gryffindor
Year: Fourth
Age: Fourteen
Birthday: September 28th
Appearance:
With a small, slender body, Sarah’s physical features compliment the rest of her body. With a rather small forehead, Sarah’s eyes are set in the middle of her face. Most would say that her eyes are what show the most emotion, rather than her mouth or facial expressions. When she is angry, Sarah’s eyebrows lower and her expression turns sour. When happy, her eyes seem to glisten and (of course) the corners of her mouth are turned upwards into a grin.Likes:
Her heart-shaped, freckle-covered face is cradled within her brown locks. Usually covered with a smile, her face is rather clear for her age. With her laughter and happiness shown to all, Sarah's eyes seemed to glisten with tears. Not from crying, but from laughter. Standing at about four-foot-seven-inches, Sarah is small for her age. Since she is thin, she weighs only around 90 pounds. At this age, she is able to eat whatever she wants without worrying about gaining a pound. With her father’s red, and her mother’s black hair, it was strange for their daughter to be born with chestnut-brown hair that from the top of her head to her shoulders is straight, however, once it reaches her shoulders, it begins to swirl into complicated waves and curls. Only cutting it a few times in her life, her hair hangs about a foot below her shoulders.
With emerald eyes, Sarah, in a way, could look like a china doll. However, she does have some faults. Between her left eye and brow, is a scar. The only scar she has. She was born with this scar. Whenever she is worried, she runs her finger over it. It has become sort of like a habit to her.
Walking at quite a fast pace, Sarah is not one to hunch or be unladylike at all. She is very poised and precise when she walks. However, when she sees something interesting or needs to get somewhere fast, she runs with such a pace one would think she was sprinting. (Much to her mother's displeasure). On cleanliness, of course the young girl can't stand being dirty in the least.
Sarah is not one to stray from her required line of clothing. She, personally, loves to wear her uniform. In the spring/summer time, she is usually attired in her uniform without the bulky robe with the collar of her dress shirt unbuttoned and the sleeves of her shirt rolled up to her elbows. When out of the castle on the grounds she usually takes off her shoes and stockings and goes barefoot. In the winter, however, Sarah keeps all of her attire buttoned and clasped, since the school tends to be quite drafty. When outdoors in the winter, she is sure to put on her cloak.
On the weekends, one would normally find the young girl wearing a plaid skirt of any colour and a nice henley button-down. Sarah always wants to look her best. In the winter she puts on a tan jacket her father had bought her with fur on the edge and inside of the hood. Of course this fur is fake, Sarah hates wearing anything that once had a face.
At parties, balls, or for a holiday, Sarah is usually attired in a nice white skirt or dress. Depending on the formality of the occasion the colour and style varies.

She is a fire elemental.Personality:
Sarah displays an indomitable spirit that does not recognize defeat or boundaries. Her desire to go beyond, to surpass what has already been done to any given area is great. Yet she is patient enough to master the technical details of her craft. Sarah takes her studies very seriously. She will not stop until she is sure she has learned the subject. This does not apply only for schoolwork, but more for anything Sarah tries to do. This just shows how stubborn the girl really is.Character History:
With classes, Sarah does an excellent job compared to others. When Sarah is faced with a problem, she tries her hardest to do her best on it. She often takes her response to such an extent that she begins to ramble off answers that don't make sense. Her emotional energy is very strong, and it is from the heart that she expresses herself. Unlike others, Sarah is not afraid to show what she thinks of a particular subject. She will argue a subject for as long as it takes to prove she is right. Even if she is completely wrong, she will not accept it. This is one of the things that make others not too fond of her.
Sarah’s bravery and steadfastness under fire are outstanding qualities. She does not hesitate to retort to anything she disagrees with. However, Sarah can act, at times, like the goofball in her family. She is very fun loving, but can be a bit bossy and fussy at times. If something doesn’t go the right way, she is determined to make it perfect. Sarah is also quite a perfectionist. To her, it's the "My way or the Highway" option. She is quite smart, and is not afraid to show it. Some students often get annoyed by this, but Sarah could care less. However, this self-consciousness only applies to fitting in with others. Sarah could care less what others think of her when she is arguing her point or trying to get her reason across to someone.
Sarah always goes the extra mile when faced with challenges. She tries her best in everything she does. She doesn’t stop at something until she knows she has succeeded. And, even if she has, indeed, failed, she keeps going until she is worn out by trying or just gives up. (Which doesn’t happen too much.) She is well-mannered to a certain extent. She folds her napkin and places it on her lap, she crosses her legs under the table and is sure not to place her elbows on the table during supper. However, Sarah does slip up every once in a while. After all, she is just a little girl, not a woman.
This excessive determination and want to be different often reflects Sarah's deep seated insecurity, a fear of failure that can give way to irrational panic and anxiety. This may just be something that she feels from always trying so much and not always succeeding.
Sarah is quite good at sports and loves to read and write. She is a talented artist and can memorize things easily. With all of her spare time at home, Sarah would take a piece of parchment and an ink-quill and sit outside below the willow tree and sketch. This would take her most of the day (and she was, of course, interrupted with chores).
Sarah is very competitive, even to family. This isn't always a good thing. Often picking fights when she doesn't get what she wants, this often shows how bratty the girl really is. She can be stuck-up and argumentative. As stated above, she always thinks she is right, even when proved wrong. She has been told by her mother that “She always expects others to like her.” This statement was, of course, denied by Sarah.
Everyone has quirks, don’t they? Yes, even Miss Sarah has some faults and odd things she does. For one, she has a knack for showing up at the wrong moment. She is very curious when it comes to the lives of others. This is where Sarah can become a bit bossy. She tries to push others into telling her things they don’t necessarily want to. And when she doesn’t win, she begins to pout and whine. (And only to the soft does this work.)
When it comes to friends and other people, Sarah will try to make friends with anyone who is willing to become her friend. When first meeting someone, Sarah is a bit standoffish, but once she begins to talk to someone, she becomes more comfortable around them. Of course she starts with the small-talk, but eventually if the two get along nicely, they will begin to become friends. However, there is that chance that Sarah and another would not get along. In this case, Sarah will keep that in mind and will never attempt at a friendship with that particular person again. In fact, she will push the other to become enemies (which she is quite good at.)
Sarah gets very protective over those she is close to. With her closest friends she will do anything for them. After just a short period she begins to see them not as her friend, but more of a relative. Sarah’s friendships usually last a lifetime (once you get past her hard shell of course) and she can be quite a nice person.
Ahh, the past of the young witch. Sarah Letione Turner, named after her mother, was born on a warm September day to Letione David (Turner) and Jeraud Turner. Her mother spoiled her and her father hated it. Sarah, growing up, wasn't the little bratty girl you'd expect her to be after having her mother get her anything she wanted. Oh no, that wasn't anything like the young girl at all. Once the toys her mother purchased got old, the young girl would take and donate them to the lower class, walking away with a smile across her face.Sample RP Roleplay:
Letione Turner worked at the local newspaper as a journalist, she made a good income but it was Sarah's father who made the most money. The man's business was a secret to the family, but the young Sarah didn't care, just as long as they stayed stable and happy. When she was five, Sarah finally got curious about where her father went when he left the house early in the morning to go to work. So, sneaking into her father's car, she rode with him to his work.
As he got out, the young girl waited a few minutes before getting out of the car herself and looked around where her father had parked. There were no big buildings like Sarah had expected, instead there was a red telephone box, a few shSarah offices, a pub, and a decorated wall. Sarah was confused, why would her father come here? She thought. Then something had caught her eye, a flash of light coming from inside the telephone box. Striding to it, she opened the door and walked inside. Picking up the phone, she looked at the numbers inscribed. It looked to be an ordinary telephone, however, the numbers 6, 2, and 4, were worn. Poking the numbers in a specific order 62442, Sarah put the telephone to her ear and listened.
"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic," The voice said shrilly, "Please state your name and your business," The woman waited and Sarah responded shyly.
"I'm Sarah Turner," She said, her voice cracked with amazement, "I'm looking for my daddy, Jeraud Turner." She said, and a silver badge appeared in front of her. Putting the phone back on the reciever, she looked at the badge.
Sarah Turner
Looking for her daddy, Jeraud Turner.
Putting the badge on, the bottom of the telephone box gave way and Sarah smiled as she was riding it what seemed to be an elevator. When she reached the bottom and the doors opened, her eyes began to sparkle with amazement. A large fountain stood in front of her, a witch, a horse-thing, a little man, and an elf spit water out which landed with a beautiful sound in the pool below them. This was Sarah's first glance at magic.
The rest of the girl's trip through the ministry was simple, she found her dad, he sat down and told his daughter about witches, wizards, Muggles, the ministry and his career as an Auror. Sarah was told not to tell her mother until she got her letter to a magical school called Hogwarts. Of course the five-year old thought this was just a joke, but when her father showed her how to use magic, she was convinced.
Then, on her eleventh birthday Sarah got a letter from Hogwarts, she and her father told her mother about magic, and she set off on her adventure to the magical school, remembering what her father had told her about it. Jeraud had told her that he had been sorted into the Gryffindor house, and Sarah was convinced that she did too.

The day was suck. Pure suck. The sky was cloudy, and yet no rain fell. What was the point of blocking the earth from the sun if the clouds just sat there? Sarah had no idea why she picked this particular day to take a train to Diagon Alley to meet her father to purchase an owl. Of course her father had written to the Headmaster giving Sarah permission to leave the school this weekend, but why this day? Sarah supposed that it was for the best since she would not have to miss the nice weather at school to spend some time outdoors on the Quidditch Pitch.Read the Rules?: Thanks for Reading the Rules!
Currently her father was in the bookstore purchasing a new cookbook for Sarah's mom. Sarah sighed as she pushed open the door to the Magical Menagerie, her mind still locked on the image of her father and mother. It was their anniversary in a few days.
"May I help you?" The woman at the counter asked Sarah as she approached her. The woman was tall, lanky, with dark black hair and large grey eyes. She had on so much lipstick that Sarah thought her lips were bleeding. Smiling fakely, the girl looked around.
"I'll just be looking around for a moment, if that's alright." Sarah said with a fake, cheery tone. Removing herself from the witch's line of view, Sarah crossed the room and pushed through the curtain that separated the main store from the area where they kept the owls. The animals varied in size and color. There were black owls, white owls, brown owls, grey owls, spotted owls, small owls, large owls, skinny owls, fat owls, old owls, young owls. Anything you wanted, they had it. However, the owl that Sarah was looking for wasn't present.
She was about to go back to the cashier when something brushed up against her leg. Looking down, Sarah had to brush a strand of brown hair out of her face in order to see what had brushed against her. There, looking up at her with small black eyes was a ferret-looking creature. "Hi," Sarah said quietly, looking around for it's owner. Seeing no one, Sarah bent down and picked up the creature. It was a Jarvey. Sarah had read about them, the appeared to be unintelligent overgrown ferrets, but they were more than that. Jarvey's had the ability to talk. Not intelligently, but they could talk nonetheless.
"Witch," The animal said, it's voice high and squeaky. "Short, puny." It said over and over again. Sarah merely laughed. Holding the animal in her arms, she exited the area and made her way back to the counter, holding the Jarvey closely. When she approached the witch at the counter, her eyes got wide.
"What? You want that?" She asked, her tone rude and mocking. "It's dirty, and rude." She said, crossing her arms over her chest and peering down at Sarah as if she were crazy.
"Yes, ma'am, I do." Sarah said, forgetting that her main intention of coming to the store was to get an owl. "And all he needs is a bath and a good lesson and he'll be good." She smiled weakly and petted the Jarvey on it's head. "Now, how much will he be? And does he have a name?" Sarah asked as the witch got a small cage to put the creature in.
By the time Sarah paid for the animal (Which was quite cheap compared to an owl), she had found out that his name was Orion. With the leftover money she had, Sarah also purchased a silver collar with a moon-like pendant on the end.
The girl, along with Orion currently sat under a blue, red, yellow, and green umbrella at Flourean Fourtiscue's ice-cream parlor, waiting for her mother and father.
