Age: 15
Birthday: August 11th
Appearance:
Cecilia is 5'9.5" and towers over most of her peers. She walks with pristine posture and holds her chin up high, making it incredibly easy for her to look down her nose at anyone. Her hair is dark blonde with natural gold highlights, and falls in natural, loose curls past her shoulders. Cecilia has a baby face, which is awfully decieving because she doesn't act as one might think. However, one look at her cold, doll-like blue eyes and you can see her true icy nature. Her skin is nearly flawless and just as fair in the winter, but in the summer it takes on a light, golden tone. As for clothes, Cecilia only wears top quality and looks as if she stepped out of a J.Crew ad. She wears classic peices in a modern way, and isn't one to follow fads.Likes:
Cecilia really liked potions because it follows a strict set of rules, and is easy to understand due to the simplicity of its complexity, even if it is a bit dull. She loves the summer and swimming or boating out in the pond she lives on.Dislikes:
Quidditch-- a barbaric waste of time. Winter, although the beauty of the clean, white snow catches her eye, Cecilia cannot stand the cold. She gets cold very easily, and dislikes it very much.Strengths:
Cecilia is smart enough with a level head. She doesn't loose her temper very easily, and can keep her cool. She is good at masking her own emotions, as well as expressing them on occasions. She is very self confident. Her loyalty to her friends is genuine, and she will always back them up or give them any help or advice they need. While Cecilia isn't the funniest person in the world, she has a subtle sarcastic humor that might draw a few smiles. She also is amused easily and will always find way to have fun, even in the darkest situations. As for more technical strengths, Cecilia is a good singer as well as runner. Her voice is soft and comforting, and she is a swift runner.Weaknesses:
Cecilia doesn't get along with most people, and often makes people hate her with her sharp tounge and cold demeanor. She isn't heartless, though, as some people might think. She also doesn't have much wit in her speech, but is able to get her point across with sharpness. All this affects her ability to obtain new friends, and her circle is reduced to a select few. Her sarcastic humor isn't appreciated or understood by most as well. Cecilia isn't the best with the opposite sex, and often finds herself with an unsual set of nerves when she has to talk to a boy. She becomes very shy and quite. This is unusual because Cecilia rarely gets nervous by any other things. Cecilia has no real upper body strength, and her arms look like sticks.Favorite Food:
Hmm, this is a really hard one because Cecilia despises food. She has a bit of a problem with her body, and is constantly watching what she eats to make sure she stays thin. Her one weakness, however, is chocolate because it is so rich and smooth.. Just like her! Although she rarely gets to enjoy this treat because of her personal disipline.Favorite color(s):
Purple, green, navy blue, and black. Anything dark, really.Family Finances: Upper middle class/wealthy. More like relatively wealthy.
Heritage: Pureblood
Wand Type: Blackwood shaft, ebony handel, hyppogriff talon, 12.4 inches
Pet:
Broom: She doesn't own one. It's a personal choice.
Quidditch Position: She doesn't like quidditch. Cecilia thinks it is a mindless sport made for the barbarians that play it.
Prized Posession:
Her prized posession would probably be her drop pearl earings and necklace.. but other than that.. Cecilia just isn't one to cling to certain objects.Special Ability:
She speaks broken french that she barely learned from her French mother. Her voice is as sweet and smooth as honey, and she as an aptitude for music and tone.Personality:
The best way to describe Cecilia would be cool. She rarely gets overworked, and doesn't often show her emotions. Her actions are very efficiant and she doesn't like to fool around. Everything has a purpose, a place, and way of being done. She is very neat, and likes all her things to be organized and easily acessable. Her sense of humor is very sarcastic and sometimes misunderstood by others. Cecilia loves to gain any kind of knowledge. Some see her as nosey, but she likes to see herself as curious. She always had to know all the fects: what happened, what's going on, and what the future plans will be. This is intensified by her ability to sense such things without even asking.Character History:
Cecilia doesn't know when to stop pressing for answers, and this offends some people. She states the truth openly and with hesitating. Most people don't like her way of doing things, but Cecilia doesn't really care. If they don't like her, she won't like them. Cecilia doesn't really have a problem with most people; as long as they don't annoy her too much, she can get along with nearly anyone.
Cecilia Elaine Reed was born to Andrew Reed and Celine la Morte Reed on the eleventh of August. Residence at the Reed Manor was... well, cold. It was a large house, with hard wooden floors and dull colors. All the furnishings were antique, and not the most comfotable things to curl up and read a book in. The library was wonderful, though, with a high ceiling and shelves upon shelves filled with all sorts of books that the young Cecilia feasted on. While Andrew and Celine weren't horrible parents, they left Cecilia most of the time with her nanny, Victoria. Celine would always be traveling to visit her family in France, and Andrew would be away on secret business for the Ministry of Magic or to serve the Dark Lord under his Death Eater status.Sample RP Roleplay:
Both parents despised muggles, and anything to do with such filth. Cecilia grew to dislike them as well, but kept in mind that with modern times approaching, such open expression of this hatred wouldn't be accepted. Andrew and Celine always treated Cecilia like a mature adult, which is perhaps why she grew up to be so cold and distant with her own feelings. She never had many playmates as a child, and was grateful to have her cousin, Rodger (or Dodge, as she likes to call him) come live at the Reed Manor to give her the company of someone at least close to her own age. He moved in with them only three years ago, but they had met occasionally before. They grew to become like brother and sister, looking out for one another in times of need.
The Reed Manor was situated on a large, salt water pond not far from the actual ocean itself. Cecilia grew up loving the water, and as a child was hardly ever out of it. She loved to go out in the little boat her parents bought her, sometimes bringing a friend or two, and to anchor and swim in the deep, clear waters.
Cecilia's acceptance letter to Hogwarts was no surprise, as she was a pureblooded witch with a good family name. She entered Hogwarts with a good prior knowledge of wizardry due to her previous schooling, and did fairly well in most of her classes. She would have done better, but homework seemed like pointless busy work to her. Even though she didn't always do her homework, Cecilia kept on the good side of professors because of her respectful and quiet nature during class. She rarely ever got detention, unless she got caught skipping or cheating on a test or homework, which wasn't very often.
The "Womping Willow" didn't have any beauty to it's name. It was nothing what a willow tree should be like, it's branches caressing gently toward the ground, perhaps dipping into a small stream. The Womping Willow was just plain ugly. Nothing good about it, really. Only mystery. What reason did it have to be so angry?Read the Rules?: Thank you for Reading the Rules!
Cecilia frowned. A walk on the grounds had led her here for some strange reason, she didn't know why. It had just happened. Curiosity had won her over, perhaps, or maybe it was just a coincidence. The cool wind whipped her scarf into her face and she angrily tugged it tighter and stuffed it into her robes. Her uncovered ears were pink with cold and she slightly regretted wearing her hair in that ponytail.
As she stood watching from a distance, the willow tree snapped at a falling leaf. More gathered around Cecilia's feet, and she knew it was fall. Fall was one of her favorite changing of seasons, the air was always crisp with the fresh, coolness of the fast coming winter. But such pretty thoughts were nowhere to be found as she glared at this ugly tree. It was a sore sight to see on such lovely grounds, and she couldn't help but wonder why it had even be put there in the first place.
