Your sitting around when you hear a light tap on the door. You pick yourself out of the chair to see who interrupted you. When you open the door you are surprised to see that an owl is sitting on your steps. The owl has something attached to its leg; a letter. You pick up the owl, untie the letter. You shut the door and rip open a light yellowish envelope with your name addressed on the front. In your excitement you read what is enclosed.


Dear (Character Name),

We are pleased to inform you that you have accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins as soon as possible.

Hogwarts is finally re-opening for the first time in 30 years, after having been extensively renovated. Needless to say, much has changed since then, but life goes on. Students buy their robes, books and stationery from Diagon Alley, and the first years are ushered across the lake in boats. Their pale young faces show excitement and a little fearful. They study classes, sleep in their dormitories, and dine as a house at the long laden tables in the Great Hall. Life is settled, and good. Of course, life is never perfect, and never perfectly safe. The world thought their problems were over; no more Death Eaters; no more need for the Order; they thought the world was at peace, but oh how they were wrong. Under the dark waters that have been still for 30 years something sends a ripple to the surface.

It's up to you to decide what happens here and I ask you now. Is there anyone here cowardly enough to dare back out now? Is there anyone here bravely stupid enough to stay here? It is a lose, lose situation, as either you will enter the war willingly or you will be dragged in somehow. Thirty years ago something ended that those fools called a war. But that was not a war. Armies of millions will be on both sides. But only one can win while the other loses.
So what fate will you choose? Where do your loyalties lay? Will you turn to the newly evolved dark side? Or will you turn to the good side, the side that so many years ago defeated the dark side? Then again perhaps you have no interest in the matter all together. Well, the choice is up to you.
